Quick Take: Women in the Automotive Industry.
Although Women Are Almost Half of the US Labor Force, They Represent Fewer Than One-Quarter of the Automotive Workforce. Women of color made up a fraction of employees in the motor vehicles and motor vehicles equipment manufacturing industry:
Black women: 5.6%.
Asian women: 1.8%.
Latinas: 3.0%.
Specific occupations in the automotive industry are male-dominated. In 2019, women represented:

Ever wondered who was the inspiration behind the syncopation? Who's That Girl is a TV series that delves in to the REAL stories behind the mega hits, and how these women became part of history and pop culture by virtue of their circumstance, name and powerful influence over some of our favourite composers and lyricists.
DYK?
That Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” was a redhead bank teller who flirted with Dolly’s husband Carl Dean?
That Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds was school girl Lucy Vodden - Julian Lennon’s schoolfriend and the subject of a drawing he took home to John?
That “Valerie” made famous by Amy Winehouse refers to an American friend of writer Dave McCabe's who was in trouble for driving under the influence? The band's drummer, Sean Payne, called it a "musical postcard to her, saying he is having a hard time and can she come over and see him." In an interview with Vice magazine in June 2019, Valerie was revealed to be celebrity makeup artist Valerie Star. She explained that she met McCabe and how she got arrested for driving on a suspended license.
That “Alice’s Restaurant” by Arlo Guthrie refers to the Chez Panisse restaurant owned by Chef Alice Waters, the creator of California Cuisine but that it plays no role in the story aside from being the subject of the chorus?

SPEAKING WORDS OF WISDOM
GENRES: Swinging 60’s | Beatles | Pop Culture | Feminism
AUDIENCE: Beatle Fans | Baby Boomers | Women
FORMAT: 90-minute Documentary
In the same vein as the multi-award winning “Good Ol’ Freda”...this is a 90-minute toe-tapping time travel experience through the 1960's, as told through the eyes of Beatle Insider, feminist, and 91-year old Dr. Angie McCartney. The decade that began with the release of The Pill. The decade that would advance Feminism more in its' 10 years, than the hundreds of years beforehand. Set to the music of the time, Angie, (born in 1929 in Liverpool and married into the McCartney Family in 1964,) will explore how the world went from Ozzie and Harriet to Sonny & Cher. From Doris Day to Janis Joplin. From Mayberry to Altamont. From Newspapers to iPads. And from Poodle Skirts to GoGo Boots. The film, which will also touch on the Nazi Blitz of industrial Britain in WW2, will appeal to not only The Greatest Generation, but Baby Boomers / Beatle Fans and their Millennial kids and grandkids alike - all groovin’ to the soundtrack of the sixties.
It's ALSO a story of female resourcefulness. Of humour. Of survival. And of inspiration and how this woman, (Angie now 91), and her daughter Ruth have re-invented themselves, picked up and started again several times over. We’ll reflect on the influence of the "Love Decade," we will travel with Angie back to Liverpool and forward to modern Los Angeles. Angie will introduce iconic friends from the 1960’s and 21st century Millennials on the move, including her friends with the Lemmings National Lampoon Improv. group she sometimes cameos with in Hollywood. The existing social and economic circuit around Beatles’ fans makes for a ready-made audience, ever-hungry for fun new material.
A "Magical History Tour" down Angie's "Long & Winding Road", the film aims for people to "Come Together", sing along, laugh, gasp in surprise & realize that at the end of the day, "The Love You Take is Equal to The Love You Make."
