Christina Capra was born and raised in California but moved to North Carolina because of her father, Frank Capra Jr.'s work in the film industry.  Frank Capra Jr. was a film producer and head of EUE Screengems Studios located in Wilmington, NC until he passed away.

Her grandfather was the Academy Award-winning director of such enduring classics as Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and It's a Wonderful Life.  After moving to North Carolina, Capra attended the University of North Carolina where she earned her degree, with honors, in film studies.

Lived in Bodies tells the story of artist Virginia Wright-Frierson, focusing on her commissioned work for Columbine high school after the tragedy occurred and her latest project: a series of oil painting representing nude women over the age of 65.

Capra is passionate about female lead stories and is now transitioning from short films to feature films.  Capra optioned the novel Poster Girls, by Meredith Ritchie and is taking the helm to produce and direct the film after penning the screenplay for it.
